Toombs County High School entered into a lockdown due to a report that there was a possible weapon on campus. School administrators and officials immediately responded, and a student was discovered to be in possession of a BB gun. The incident was swiftly addressed and TCHS remained in a lockdown while law enforcement conducted a walk-through of the building, ensuring all students and staff were safe. TCHS will be resuming our daily schedule.
As usual, our school resource officer will remain on campus.

The students at TCHS will celebrate the graudating class of 2024 by participating in senior dress up week. All students are encouraged to join in on the fun.

Our hearts are deeply saddened as we mourn the loss of Mr. Greg Pace. Mr. Greg was a true blessing to the staff and students at Toombs County High School. His compassion and heart for others was beyond measure! He was an avid supporter of our students and was an encourager to many of them and to our faculty and staff. He was the epitome of what it truly means to have a servant's heart and to selflessly love others without judgment. He will forever be remembered and missed tremendously. Please keep Mr. Greg's family and friends as well as our school in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time. ❤️💙❤️💙❤️
