Mrs. McBride’s 5th grade classes completed a small group learning activity today to help build their knowledge and skills when working in groups. This activity was fun, and the kids did a great job of working together to construct their puzzles.

Mrs. Hart’s 3rd grade Reading students have had a great start to the school year! Today, students practiced working in groups to review classroom expectations and procedures. These students are ready for a great year of growth and learning!

AFTERNOON CAR RIDERS: School issued tags are needed to pick up students in the afternoon car line. If you have not gotten yours yet, please send a note to your child’s teacher. Beginning next week, the tags MUST be displayed or you will be asked to park and come inside to sign your student out. Homemade signs/tags are not acceptable.

The Summer Meal Program provides free meals to children and teens, 18 years old and younger when school is out for summer. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by state and local agencies. All children and teens are eligible to receive free meals through the Summer Meal Program, regardless of income or household size. There is no need to apply or register for the program. Meals are served at Toombs County High School on the following days & times: June 3-26 (Tues-Thurs) July 7-10 and July 21-30 (Mon-Thurs) Breakfast: 7:45am-8:15am Lunch: 11:45am-12:15pm
