Summer Swim Team is here! See attached flyer for information! Additionally, you can contact the TCHS swim coach via email at Heather.Moore@toombs.k12.ga.us for information. Students do not have to be Vidalia students or residents to participate in the summer swim team.

This is a Toombs County Schools transportation update. Due to the recent heavy rainfall, our bus drivers and transportation team are reaching out to families who may be affected by road conditions. We’re identifying alternate pick-up and drop-off locations where needed to ensure students can get to and from school safely. Toombs County Schools are also working closely with the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office to monitor road updates and provide additional support if necessary. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prioritize student safety.

Online registration for Kindergarten at Toombs Central Elementary (TCES) and Lyons Primary School (LPS) is now available! 📌 Important Note for our Pre-K Families: If your child is currently enrolled in Pre-K at TCES or LPS, you do NOT need to complete Kindergarten registration. Your child will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten at the same school for the upcoming school year. 🖱️ For all new Kindergarten students (not currently in Pre-K at TCES or LPS), please visit https://campus.toombs.k12.ga.us/campus/OLRLogin/toombs?configGroupID=4 to complete registration. "Hoppy Day" presented by Lyons Community Heart & Soul will be held Today, April 12 from 1PM-4PM at the 304 Society Garden in downtown Lyons. Enjoy games, food, egg hunt, prizes, Easter baskets and more! Don't miss it!

The Greatest of All Time Animal Program is at the Vidalia Library from 3-5 PM April 11. All ages and abilities are welcome. They will have a local author, vet, kitten rescue, animal rescue, and animal trainer on site, as well as a service dog (and her human companion). Families can grab a free snack, enter a raffle for prizes, visit with local animal professionals and check-out new items at the library. Educators that stop in will get a free book for their classroom library while supplies last.
