Dear Lyons Primary Families,

Welcome! I am delighted to welcome you to Lyons Primary School and to have the opportunity to serve as the new principal. This is my 26th year in education as a teacher and an administrator. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Brewton-Parker College in Education, a Master's and Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University in Curriculum and Instruction, and a doctorate degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Educational Leadership.

At Lyons Primary, the amazing staff aims to provide a safe, academically challenging learning environment where all students are engaged in grade-level, standards-based learning. I know by working together, our students will have a strong foundation and the skills needed to succeed. We look forward to working with you and your child to ensure they achieve their fullest potential.

My husband, Bruce, and I are excited to return to this area and are proud to call Toombs County home. We have four wonderful children, a son-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and being outdoors. I especially love to travel and explore new places.
